The 16th international workshop on top quark physics
Location and date:
September 24 to 29, 2023 in Traverse City, Michigan, USA. Registration is open on indico, for instructions on paying the workshop fee see here. Please book your hotel room at the Delamar, let the organizers know if you need assistance.
The 16th International Workshop on Top Quark Physics (TOP 2023) will be held at the Delamar Hotel in Traverse City, Michigan, USA. It brings together experimentalists and theorists to present and discuss the latest developments in top-quark physics. This is the first time that the top quark conference is in the US and we expect to celebrate the top quark history and discovery.
Young scientists are especially encouraged to participate, and there will be a poster session as well as a block of short plenary talks in the "Young Scientist Forum'', allowing young experimentalists and theorists to present their work. Abstracts for theory talks can be submitted on indico, while experimentalists should contact their experiments speakers bureau. We ask that more senior scientists alert their younger collaborators to this opportunity. We welcome poster proposals on top quark physics and related topics.
More news and information on indico and in our Slack channel.
There will be a public presentation on the legacy of the Tevatron top physics program on Sunday, September 24, together with a Tevatron Top Reunion Reception. This reception doubles as the Top Workshop Welcome Reception, and everyone is welcome. Please pay the reception fee of $49 if you plan to attend this special event.
All Top workshop sessions are plenary sessions, and there is ample time for questions and discussion after each presentation. Monday afternoon is a poster session. Wednesday afternoon is the excursion, followed by the workshop dinner. Thursday morning is the theory mini-workshop on Quantum Sensing. The workshop ends on Friday after the morning session.
Registration is now open on indico. The conference fee can be paid by credit card or bank transfer. Please also book your travel. If you need a visa to enter the US, then we can provide an invitation letter, in that case we ask you to fill out the visa letter request form.
